Vintage wedding rings ar becoming more and more stylish as many of us are looking for something a little special for our wedding rings.
Any ring of fifty years or more can be classified as vintage. A lot of the vintage rings you will find on the market today are from three specific eras. These three most popular periods are the Art Deco, Edwardian and Victorian.
Art Deco Vintage Rings
The Art Deco style is quiet distinctive. This was an era of change, it started in Paris in the nineteen twenties, but continued to grow in the United States through the nineteen thirties. The style still has a very contemporary feel and inspires many of todays designers.
Edwardian Vintage Rings
The Edwardian era is one of the shorter eras, lasting only a couple of decades. Much of the style and craft is similar to the Victorian era, but the materials are different. During the Edwardian period there is an increase in the use of rose diamonds and also sapphires. This change in materials means that there is a significant difference ‘tween the Edwardian and Victorian rings.
